Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for a Power Electronics Engineer to join a specialised engineering firm, focusing on the design, manufacture and testing of high-value, low-volume electronic products.

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Manage design projects to meet specifications and budget requirements
– Collaborate with Sales to align technical requirements and capabilities
– Support Production with technical input to enhance manufacturing and testing efficiency
– Ensure design compliance with company standards, customer specifications and legislation
– Generate and approve system-level block diagrams, schematics, and PCB layouts
– Conduct simulations, component analysis, and data pack generation
– Develop and validate Acceptance Test Procedures
– Support production through troubleshooting and debugging
– Oversee component library management
REQUIRED SKILLS
– Full lifecycle power electronics design
– Digital/Analogue design
– Experience with power electronics such as power supplies
– EMC/EMI knowledge
– Schematics and PCB design
– Testing and prototyping
DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL)
– Altium experience
– Solidworks experience
– Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
