This pivotal role as a Test and Validation Engineer beckons for a professional eager to thrive in a rapidly evolving and stimulating environment.

    The successful candidate will be the linchpin in a multifaceted team, reporting to the Principal Engineer for Mechanical Test and Validation. Charged with the coordination and execution of a wide array of test and development activities, the role spans across the heavy industry and Mobility sectors. The focus will be on power conversion, batteries, modules, and energy storage, ensuring the candidate is at the forefront of innovation.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting Senior or Principal engineers on diverse projects, selecting optimal test houses and locations, and aiding in the development of test equipment and rigs. The role demands meticulous planning and logistical management of test preparation, as well as the commissioning of hardware at test sites. The engineer will provide essential support to the Electrical Systems and Software teams, review Design Verification Plans, and contribute to the creation of precise test plans.

    The role requires active engagement with global test facilities and collaboration with Systems Engineering to align plans. The engineer will also work closely with procurement and workshop teams to monitor facility plans and will be responsible for running and coordinating tests on a global scale. This position offers the potential for extended travel to Australia and the US, providing an international dimension to your professional growth.

    Candidates should possess a Mechanical Engineering degree with 2-3 years of relevant industry experience, including Test & Validation. Proficiency in 3D CAD and PML software, particularly NX and Teamcentre, is desirable. A hands-on, proactive approach is essential, as is the ability to work under tight schedules. Experience in data acquisition and analysis, coupled with the skill to present findings clearly, will be highly valued.
