The role entails chairing and documenting cross-functional package and virtual build reviews, supporting Bill of Materials (BOM) and Change Control processes, and optimising component packaging for a multitude of considerations, including efficiency and manufacturability. The appointee will also deliver comprehensive training on DMU tools, support the component release process, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Design Group.
Candidates should possess a relevant engineering degree or demonstrate equivalent expertise through a proven track record. Experience in design or manufacturing is essential, with a strong ability to adapt to mechanical, composite, and electrical systems. Proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter is required, and familiarity with CATIA V5 is advantageous.
